Press Release Summary: AV Network technology delivers live TV to meeting rooms

Press Release Body: London, 2nd May 2008: Exterity, a leading provider of network
IPTV, has completed a deployment of its iSocket technology at The Serious Games
Institute (SGI) based at Coventry University\'s Technology Park. The solution will
deliver Freeview television to all of SGI's meeting rooms used for planning,
development and sales purposes, as well as to its reception area, so that users have
constant access to news and stories from around the world to provide inspiration for
new projects.

The first implementation of the technology was a key part of the official launch of
SGI in March, when screens fed by the Exterity system were used to display 3D
Avatars from Second Life.

The Institute researches and develops techniques to use electronic games
technologies and methodologies for practical purposes other than entertainment, such
as training programmes for nurses and worked with the Exterity authorised systems
integrator, Venue Solutions Limited a subsidiary of Venue Solutions Holdings Plc, as
part of a plan to equip its headquarters with multimedia facilities.

Traditional methods of TV streaming were unsuitable because they required AV to be
piped into a building using coaxial cabling, which is expensive to maintain and slow
to deploy. Because SGI uses the Sony Ziris system to stream pre-recorded content to
these end points, (and is unable to provide live TV), it opted for Exterity's IPTV
solution to complete its comprehensive AV network, removing the need for expensive
and disruptive re-cabling.

"Many other network AV products are difficult to use and have heavy back-ends, where
as Exterity's system is a simple 'plug and play' solution, making it ideal for a
fast deployment at SGI," said Roger Saunt, Head of Sales at Venue Solutions Limited.
"IPTV also removes the need for investment in a TV for each end point, as the
content is streamed from a single source to as many end points as necessary - it's
completely scalable in this way, which is ideal if their requirements change."

"Because SGI is all about leading edge technology we felt it was very important to
reflect this in its meeting rooms and public areas. SGI can stream pre-recorded
content to screens in these rooms, but often needed to access live TV, for example
to gather information as part of a development process. The IPTV system was the best
way to do this without major infrastructure investment or causing disruption to
employees as it could be completed in a couple of days," said Dominic Berger, CEO of
Venue Solutions Holdings Plc.

"SGI has a huge network capacity so it makes complete sense for them to use this to
store and stream different types of media," commented Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity.
"The complete AV system looks very smart and certainly helps to portray a
professional and innovative image."
